Guess what we got to do today? Well, if you couldn’t already guess by the title of this entry or the pictures below…we got to see the Weenermobile! I never thought it would be so cool to see a very large hot dog on wheels, but I have to say that it was kinda neat. I think that Superkid and Cookie had a good time too, but couldn’t really figure out what the big deal was.

Now Superkid is asking if we can “get a bigger garage so we can have a Weenier-boat too”. Yeah, that’s gonna happen ;o)

To top off the fun, the nice weenier man gave them both weenie whistles. They of course loved them. All I have to say about that is…Somewhere, someday, I hope that SOMEONE will give 2 children whistles (whistles that can reach notes that should not be possible…pitches that make me wish I carried ear plugs with me everywhere) and then forced him to ride in a small confined space with those children for an entire 15 minutes…and the kids don’t understand what “Lets only blow the whistles outside, okay?” means.

 …someday, right?

For now, I’ve hidden the whistles.

Inspiration…or is it?

I was awakened a few nights ago by a very sad Superkid.  He says to me (and I quote) “Mom, I had a scary dream and I prayed and Heavenly Father told me to go to your bed.”  

It was 3 am…I’d been awake 5 times already that night and he got to sleep with us.

We are infested…(dun, dun, duhhhh)

That’s right. I have been informed by a wonderful and VERY reliable almost 5 year old that we have an infestation. What you may ask? Rats? No. Bugs? No. Scorpions? No.

ALLIENS! Run for you lives!!!

As I’m tucking the kids into bed the other night for the millionth time I asked “Who turned off the fan?” and Superkid tells me it was the aliens.“You can’t see them,” he says, “Because they run away when you turn the lights on, but Mom, it was the aliens. But they are nice aliens Mom.”

So now I have to wonder, how do you get rid of invisible aliens? Anyone?

Winner and new addition…

Well, the winner is….Marne Clarke! Way to go cousin! I think she set a record with all the commenting she did here on my blog! LOL

I will be mailing her out a Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus felt story. I know that this is one that she will probably use with her cute kids! I hope you like!

I will be doing another drawing here closer to the end of the month…or maybe into Feb. We will see. Now for news! We have a new addition! His name is Bandit and he is a papered Pomeranian! He is only about 5 lbs right now and smaller than my cat! He has been so much fun and the kids are really enjoying him. He is learning how to walk on a leash and loves to wrestle with the cat! It took him a little while to get used to the kitty (Spaz) but now they are the best of friends.
