Superkid wants to play the computer so when he asked this morning he said “Mom can I play computer…with a cherry on top of the whipped cream…on the top of a pretty please?”
Too cute!
We had a very enjoyable Thanksgiving here in Arizona…no snow, no family, but otherwise it was nice. I tried a Tofu Pumpkin Pie that did not go over so well but everything else turned out great! I’m going to try to redeem myself by making another pumpkin pie later today (hopefully).
I just wanted to quickly list some of the things I’m thankful for this year:
Family
Good friends
Our New House
Our health
The Gospel
Telephones (so we can keep in touch with our friends and family)
Computer/internet (same reason as above)
My felt business
My website, Time4Felt.com
My kids
My great Husband, I wouldn’t get anything done without his love and support
I could go on and on, but I think I will spare you having to read it.
Enjoy your Holiday Season, it will be over far too soon!

Old McDonald had a farm, EIEIO, and on his farm he had a cow, EIEEO. With a moo, moo here and a moo, moo there, here a moo, there a moo, everywhere a moo, moo. Old McDonald had a farm,
BINGO…and Bingo was his name-O.
Cute!

How food gets eaten and princess diaper…
Filed Under Kids, potty training | Leave a Comment
Well, Superkid told me how food gets eaten yesterday. First, you put it in your mouth and then you swallow it down the good pipe, not the bad one, but the good pipe. The good pipe. Then it goes down and there is a mixer. Like the one in the kitchen. (Kitchen-aid) That mixes-mixes-mixes it up. Like your mixer, the one in the kitchen. And then its poop. Good to know!
Cookie had an accident the other day. She has been doing great with potty training with only the occasional accident. This time she was being watched by a friend and missed. Fortunately the friend was prepared and had a princess pull-up and extra pair of shorts we could borrow. Well this has been 5 almost 6 days now and Cookie WILL NOT soil the princess pull-up. Its not that I want her too, but she has awakened 5 nights dry! Simply because she doesn’t want to get the princess’s dirty! I think I will be investing in a few of these…!! 5 nights with 1 pull-up…That I can afford!

The Birds and the Bees…
Filed Under Kids, laughter, parenting | 1 Comment
“Where do babies come from?” inquires Superkid. Like a bomb it cuts through the silence of the moment I was quietly enjoying in my rocking chair.
Um…I stutter, completely shocked that my 4 year old is asking me this.
“From mommies tummies. Remember when Mommy had a big tummy and then I went to the hospital and we got to bring Tater home?” Thinking this explanation will satisfy his hunger for knowledge…
“But how do the babies get into the tummy?” He says persistently.
Here it is…the Birds and the Bees talk…to my 4 year old!
“A mommy has an egg and a daddy has a sperm and when the egg and the sperm go together then a baby is made. Then it grows in the mom’s tummy bigger and bigger until they go to the hospital and have a baby.” (Trying my best to stay calm…and not turn bright red like my dad always does when this subject is brought up…love you daddy! ;o) )
“Oh.” (yeah! We have answered the question to his satisfaction!)
“Mom? Can I see your egg?”
It took every single fiber of strength I had in me to not burst into laughter! “The eggs are really, really small and you can’t see them with your eyes” I stammer.
“…Okay, see you later mom.” And he runs off to play….
