Well, I was a little embarassed the other day….so to make matters worse, I’m blogging about it!  LOL!  ….My mom took me to her water aerobics class.  Let me set the stage.  She has been attending this class for like 4 months now with the same 10 people every day.  Second, this is Idaho and its 7am.  I haven’t eaten breakfast and I’m cold.  Ok, well, It was a pretty easy workout.  I probably could have worked a little more at it, but i was cold and hungry!….so right at the very end we are stretching and our legs are to go up on the way as we lean forward on them.  I was 1/2 way doing this and 1/2 was talking.  My mom made a comment about how flexible I was, so Me (being really smart that particular morning) decided to put my foot on the very top of the pool, out of the water and stretch.  So I did and the worst foot/leg cramp of my entire life happened right then.  So here I am jumping around in the water grabbing my foot and hollering ouch in front of these 10 other women.  They all decided that it was becasue I was showing off…he he.  I guess that’s what I get for slacking off at water aerobics!

How much do you love her?

My sister in law has 2 kids now.  One is 3 (boy) and the other is about 4 months (girl).  I was holding the baby and talking to the 3 year old.  I asked “Is this your sister?  Do you love her?” and he replied.  “yeah.  I Could love her this much (holding up 5 fingers) but I only love her this much (holding up 2 fingers). 

Its nice to know that he loves her and he knows HOW MUCH!

Movie Quote Tuesday

In an effort to get myself to blog a little bit more, I’m going to introduce “MOVIE QUOTE TUESDAY” !!  I’m excited for this one.  I will simply quote a line or 2 from a movie and then 2 things can happen….you can guess which movie it was, and get a warm fuzzy!  My siblings and I play this game when we are together.  It is FUN!!

Hurt me bad…

Lately I’ve taken to hiding in the pantry for a few moments in the daytime.  When the kids get a little crazy, I go and hid in there and eat some brownie bits that I’ve stashed  away on one  of the upper shelves.  Yesterday, my son caught me going in, so he decided to hold the door closed!  Hum, I thought to myself….I’m sneaking away for a moments peace and he’s forcing me to stay there longer than intended….looks like 1 more brownie bite that I don’t have to share!  Hurt me bad!

Grocery Store Looks

Ya know those shopping carts that have the trucks on the front of them so the kids can sit while you shop?  We had one of those.  My 2 oldest were in the front but the straps don’t hold them in.  So you strap them in and no less than 2 seconds later, they are climbing out again.  I was trying to buy milk.  Just milk….So I calmy say (for like the bazillionth time!) “Sit down, sweetheart, you are going to get hurt.”  and my son says, “MOM!  Don’t say sweetheart!”  To which I calmly replied, “ok, sit down Knuckel-head.”  He was somewhat flabbergasted, but the best part was the lady a few feet away from us….If looks could kill, I would be in a heap of trouble from that one! 

And this little mommy went “ha ha ha”…all the way home!
